School Direct Route
University Led Route
The GFM partners with the Universities of Chichester, Portsmouth and Southampton hosting PGCE trainee placements.
Assessment Only Route
Prospective teachers who are GFM employees and wish to gain QTS can apply for the Assessment Only route, for which we partner with the University of Chichester.
Teach First Route
Teach First is a charity supporting equality in Education, so is only available to eligible schools. Within the GFM are two such schools – Brune Park Community School and Rowner Junior School.The programme is aimed at high achieving graduates.
Gaining School Experience
The GFM offers both Primary and Secondary experiences in an exciting array of schools, giving potential candidates the opportunity to discuss their aspirations with experienced teachers and observe lessons in a diverse age range.
