Year 3 in September 2023
Appeals for transfer to Gomer Junior or Rowner Junior Schools – Year 3
Notification date for on-time applicants: Monday 17 April 2023
Deadline date for parents wishing to lodge an appeal (returning completed appeal papers to the school): Monday 22 May 2023
Year 3 appeal hearings to be held: w/c 26 June 2023
Decision letters to be sent: Within 5 school days of hearing
Year 7 in September 2023
Appeals for transfer to Bay House or Brune Park Schools – Year 7
Notification date for on-time applicants: Monday 1 March 2023
Deadline date for parents wishing to lodge an appeal (returning completed appeal papers to the school): Tuesday 11 April 2023
Year 7 appeal hearings to be held: w/c 22 May 2023
Decision letters to be sent: Within 5 school days of hearing
Please note:
(i) Appeals lodged after the deadline date will be heard on the above date if possible, or within 40 calendar days (excluding school holidays) of the appeal being lodged. Appeals lodged after the beginning of June will not be heard until the autumn term 2023.
(ii) Following the lodging of an appeal, additional (evidence) papers may be submitted to GFM Admissions Office – deadline dates for this will be advised during the appeal process. Evidence submitted after the date advised may not be considered in your case.
