TES Schools Awards 2019

The most outstanding individuals and institutions that the education sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the TES Schools Awards 2019.

The GFM are delighted to have been shortlisted for the STEM Team of the Year Award. Following on from Gomer’s success at the awards last year, Gomer are delighted to have used their practice this year to enhance STEM provision across our multi-academy trust and to support other schools too. The leadership of the two ENTHUSE Partnerships and the development of the Gosport STEM Centre have been significance projects.

Furthermore, congratulations to Bay House for being shortlisted for two categories which include the International Award and Innovative Use of Technology. Both of these nominations highlight significant works which have enabled an array of positive outcomes for our young people.

TES editor Ann Mroz said: It is wonderful to see such great ideas and excellent practice emerging from our schools and teachers, especially at a time when schools are under financial pressure. We had a record number of entries this year and the standard was very high, so all those shortlisted should be very proud: it’s an extraordinary achievement to be on this shortlist.

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday 21 June 2019.
