Rotary Youth Speaks Winners

Congratulations to the five Youth Speak Teams who participated in the annual Rotary Youth Speaks competition. The learners prepared some incredibly detailed speeches and had the judges transfixed with their eloquence and salient points. The students spend considerable time preparing for the competition which was evident in their speeches and personal presentation. Competing against Bridgemary, both our intermediate and Senior Team won. Well done to our :

Winning seniors with the speech: Should the UK adopt the American governmental system?

Patience Sullivan, Evie Rooke and Edward Cavendish (all aged 14)

Winning intermediates with the speech:  It is time to stop wasting public money on space exploration.

Dylan Mathias (12) , Florence Hind (13) &  Arnold Gransden (12)

Dame Caroline Dinenage was one of the judges and gifted a prize of Tea at The House of Lords.
