Gomer Junior School is blooming marvellous!

Gomer Junior School has been awarded five gold Gosport in Bloom awards, 1 silver award and the Gosport in Bloom 2018 Best School Award! Some of the school’s Gomer Growers, who garden all year and in all weathers, attended a special ceremony at Gosport Town Hall to pick up their awards. They were presented with their array of awards by TV presenter Fred Dinenage. In addition to the eight shields, the school was delighted to have been awarded £100 of gardening vouchers which will be put towards the sensory garden.

A huge thank you goes to Mrs Carré, who gives considerable time to over-see the Gomer Growers and our site, the Gomer Growers and to all of the community who tend to the flowers and habitats and take part in our outdoor learning and Groundforce days. Go Gomer!
