Dance Live Heat Winners

On Thursday 17 February, Rowner Junior wore their Dance Live t-shirts to school to celebrate with their friends their recent success. Two weeks ago today, Team Rowner aka Team Awesome, won their Dance Live heat this evening at the Guildhall in Portsmouth. Months of preparation, weeks of practice, hours of polishing moves, a ton of glitter, metres of tulle, incredible teamwork and sheer determination saw the children rightly celebrated this evening. In addition to winning the heat, the school also won a further three awards including: the Best Video Journey, the Technical Award and LED Screen. We were very proud and impressed with the video and screen (thank you Miss Weaver) and were delighted the judges were impressed. The children should be incredibly proud of themselves. They were superb Rowner Ambassadors and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A big THANK YOU to the children for being awesome, to our families for supporting the school and to all the staff who have given so much time voluntarily to make Dance Live 2022 possible. Watching the video, on Thursday,  with the whole school was wonderful. We can’t wait to see everyone at the final in May!
