Change of wording on Q & A regarding entry requirement to cover expectations for all pathways To now read:
Q: What are the entry requirements
A: A minimum of 6 standard GCSE passes (grade 4-9), with a strong pass (grade 5 or higher) in at least 4 (students following the alternative pathways require 2 strong passes and 4 standard passes).
Remove criteria (b) to align with 3-6 and 7-11 admissions
- B: Students considered by the Governors’ Admissions Committee to have exceptional medical needs that relate to Bay House Sixth Form (a medical report will be required)
Added Q & A regarding attendance to highlight the expectations regarding attendance to read:
Q: What is expected with regard to attendance and absence
A: It is an expectation that all students attend and be punctual to lesson and attend 100% of all aspects of their
course. Attendance will be regularly monitored throughout and failure to maintain good attendance will be discussed with tutors and the head of sixth form. If sufficient improvements are not made, other measures may be imposed.
