Community Volunteers Needed!

Following on from our hugely successful appeal for Volunteers to support of COVID-19 Rapid Testing Programme throughout 2021 we once again ask for your support. 

Play your part in supporting your local school community and help to continue keeping young people in school. The GFM is again seeking expressions of interest from those in the local community who may be willing to volunteer to assist us with the ongoing demands of the pandemic. 

As you may have seen in the media over the Christmas period, schools, much like most public sector agencies, are facing significant challenges with staffing due to the ongoing developments of the virus and isolation periods. Schools are being asked to employ additional measures to remain open to as many pupils as possible and therefore we need you and your incredible support once again!  

Volunteers are needed for:

• Our Ongoing Rapid Testing Programme
• In Class Support 
• General Admin Duties 
• Pastoral/ Well-being Support
• Community Garden/ Farm

We are looking for volunteers who are available immediately, short and long term and who can spare a few hours a week during the school day to help with the ongoing demands that pandemic inflicts. Full training will be provided and you will be directly helping to keep our schools open and our community safe.
