We have a unique opportunity to appoint a Leader of Art to teach Art, Craft and Design across Key Stages 3-5 with some small KS2 intervention within our Atelier provision.  The position also requires a passion for working with local community arts projects.

You should be passionate about your subject and determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to the team and to all our young people, whilst exciting and engaging them in their learning. You will be driven and motivated to continually drive and improve the department, whilst understanding the importance of developing a positive and creative culture.

We are looking for:

We have a strong commitment to building further relationships with external arts organisations and to deliver the Arts Award. The ability to also teach Graphic Design or Textile Design is desirable but not essential, however a second subject would be a distinct advantage as would experience of delivering the Arts Award. There may be future requirements for teaching Cross-MAT between the two art departments.
